How to compare privacy-tree quotes.
Compare the same tree, sale height and quantity before comparing totals. A tree-only price and a price with planting describe different work; delivery may still be separate.
- Confirm the plant name, supplied size and availability. Ask whether the photograph shows current stock or an established planting.
- Separate trees, applicable volume savings, planting and delivery. Check whether mulch, staking or other work is included in the written quote.
- Discuss site access and the watering arrangements. Confirm the final scope and scheduling before accepting the quote.
If you are comparing a fence with a living screen, include mature space, initial gaps and ongoing care in the decision. We do not assume the two options provide the same day-one privacy or cost.
